Terms & Conditions

General

The Promoter reserves the right to refuse admission to the ice rink and/or the venue and shall be to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of all visitors.

The Promoter shall be entitled to request visitors to leave the venue at any time. The Promoter shall be entitled to remove anyone from the venue who is under the influence of drugs or alcohol or who, in the reasonable opinion of the Promoter, is conducting themselves in a manner inappropriate to their continued attendance.

Smoking, including E cigarettes, is not permitted within the ice rink or changing facilities. Only food & drink that has been purchased from the on-site bar can be consumed within the designated cafe/bar area. No food should be consumed within the Skate Exchange.

The Promoter reserves the right to close the ice rink and access to areas within the grounds around the ice rink at short notice and without prior warning if necessary and the Promoters decision is final.

By entering the site visitors consent to being photographed, filmed or recorded as visitors of the ice rink, and consent to such photographs, films or recordings being used by the Promoter to publicise the event in the future.

Skating under the influence of alcohol is not permitted and Ice Rink Canary Wharf reserves the right to remove those deemed to be a risk to the safety of others.

Tickets

Children under the age of 4 are not permitted on the ice, children 12 and under must be accompanied on the ice by a parent or guardian over the age of 13 in the interests of safety. A maximum of 6 children to 1 skater over the age of 13 is permitted.

Admission to the Ice Rink is by ticket only. All skaters must have a ticket. All tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.

Online bookings are subject to a 10% (inc vat) booking fee.

Tickets cannot be resold, exchanged, refunded or transferred. To do so or to alter or deface any ticket will render it void. It is the patron’s responsibility to check his or her tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified. The Promoter will not be responsible for any tickets which are lost or stolen.

The ticket holder has a right only to a session of the value corresponding to that stated on the ticket.

Tickets are priced per 45 minutes, specifically timed session and include skate hire. Please arrive at least 20 minutes before your skating session. During peak periods (Monday to Friday after 5.00pm and after 12.00pm Saturday & Sunday), ticket holders should aim to arrive up to 30 minutes prior to their selected session due to increased numbers.

Each session is 45 minutes long, from the session start time. You will be allowed entry after the session has started but you will have less time on the Ice. Ticket holders will not be permitted to continue skating once their allocated session is over.

Filming & Photography

By purchasing a ticket to Ice Rink Canary Wharf, you consent to being photographed, filmed and/or otherwise recorded. Your entry constitutes your consent to such photography, filming and/or recording and to any use, in any and all media throughout the universe in perpetuity.

You can take photographs for personal use; for health and safety reasons, selfie sticks, large cameras, video cameras or audio recording devices are not allowed on the ice. The use of tripods is not permitted anywhere on-site for safety reasons.

Should you have professional filming and photography enquiry, please be aware prior approval is required in writing from the Ice Rink Canary Wharf Marketing team, and a permit has been granted.

Should you wish to make a professional film or photography enquiry pertaining to Ice Rink Canary Wharf or Off Piste Bar, please complete the filming application form.

Please Note: Due to the high number of enquiries we receive, each request will take at least 48 hours for the team to review upon receiving the filming application form.

Skate Aids

Please note: Ice Rink Canary Wharf is obliged to limit the number (15 on busy sessions) of Skate Aids on the ice. Skate aids are available online on a first come first serve basis so please book one early if you require one. Skate aids are only available to skaters who are 1.1m in height and below or 1.2m in skates.

Refunds

In the event any session is cancelled or curtailed, ticket holders will be offered an alternative session (subject to availability). In the unlikely event that the venue manager deems it necessary to close the rink, alternative sessions will be offered subject to availability. If you have been removed from the ice rink or venue for inappropriate behaviour, you will not be offered a refund and will not be offered an alternative session.

Online Transactions

Ice Rink Canary Wharf uses Stripe, a secure third-party electronic commerce platform which is regulated by the FCA, to process all transactions. Ice Rink Canary Wharf, its operating company, or its affiliated businesses, at no point stores or has any access to any credit or debit card details.

Risk

Participating in Ice skating carries an inherent risk, any participation is totally at the users own risk. Anyone with any medical conditions, serious previous injuries, recently broken bones, knee or joint problems, head injuries, pregnancy, mobility problems, or taking prescribed drugs should carefully consider whether it is safe for them to participate without endangering themselves or other participants whilst skating. The Promoter shall not be liable for any injury, loss or damage however caused, except for personal injury caused by negligence on behalf of the promoter.

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any personal property left at the rink or in the lockers.

In the event of any conflict between these terms and conditions and the terms and conditions imposed by any ticket agency, these terms and conditions shall prevail.

Please read all Terms & Conditions in full before entering any Ice Rink Canary Wharf competition.

Entry is restricted to persons aged 18 or older, and who are resident in the UK or Republic of Ireland. Employees of Ice Rink Canary Wharf, or anyone connected to Ice Rink Canary Wharf or this promotion in any way may not enter.

One entry is allowed per person, multiple email addresses for the same person will not be allowed.

The Marketing Manager’s decision is final, and no additional correspondence will be entered into.
